Meet the Team: Get to know Erin Duffy, Kids Director at Wellspring Community Church

Enjoy a quick Q&A with the Wellspring leader who helps shepherd our little ones.

Q: Tell us a little about yourself? 

A: I am a teacher by day, and a wife to Brian and a stepmom to four 24/7. I grew up in the Dallas area as a native Texan (loud and proud) and taught for almost 15 years as a 3rd grade teacher. When I met Brian and moved to Tennessee, Evangelical Christian School finally let me graduate to teaching 4th grade! I love teaching children about Jesus.

Q: What’s your favorite moment on Sunday mornings?

A: Communion - it's such a family moment.

Q: What song is at the top of your playlist right now?

A: Anything that Shane & Shane have ever sung, currently sing, or ever will sing, especially if it's a Psalm.

Q: What interests or hobbies dominate your free time?

A: I love to walk, read, spend time with people one-on-one, and even write kids’ literature.

Q: Best book you’ve read lately? Or podcast? Or movie?

A: Theo of Golden by Allen Levi, and The Deep Dish podcast by The Gospel Coalition.

Q: What’s a favorite Wellspring memory?

A: So far, our Vacation Bible School weeks have been precious memories to me.

Q: What are you most excited about for Wellspring?

A: I'm excited to see what the Lord will do through the ordinary lives of our people (and those who might join us in the future). I'm eager to walk together in community and share burdens, joys, hardships and celebrations!
